Cyber Sunday is coming soon! Here are my predictions as to how the voting will go.
WWE Championship Match (fans pick opponent):Shawn Michaels will get voted to face Randy Orton. In second will be Jeff Hardy, and in third Mr. Kennedy. I think Michaels will beat Orton, because WWE knows nobody wants to see Orton be champ for very long. Michaels delivering a superkick to the face of Orton for the WWE Championship at the most interactive pay-per-view of the year has sure got to boost ratings.
World Heavyweight Championship Match (fans pick Guest Referee):My predictions is that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be the special referee. In second, Mick Folley, and in third, JBL. Stone Cold defiantly has some major beef with The Undertaker, plus Batista has never beaten him, so I think Batista will retain the title.
ECW Championship (
fans pick opponent):My guess is that Big Daddy V gets the most votes, with Morrison coming in second and The Miz coming in last place. I think that, if Big Daddy V votes the most votes, the ECW Championship will be retained. WWE has became way to predictable lately, and using the knowledge of what happened last time they faced off and what happened between Batista and Khali in the Punjabi Prison, my guess is that CM Punk retains his ECW Title.
Triple H vs. Umaga (fans pick stipulation):My guess for the Triple H vs. Umaga match is that the Steel Cage match wins, followed by a First Blood and than a Street Fight. Fans are always screaming for cages, and a street fight is basically just a NO-DQ match. Steel Cage and First Blood will come pretty close, but in the end, everyone wants to see a Steel Cage. My prediction for the end result is that Triple H will end up winning after landing a huge pedigree on Umaga.
MVP vs. Matt Hardy (fans pick stipulation):Just to say something before I make my prediction. This is such a great rivalry, and I don't think WWE does a very good job feeding it. I mean, we want to see options like Inferno, Casket, or Ladder match. With that said, I think a Mixed Martial Arts match will win, followed by Boxing match and lastly, wrestling match. A boxing match was shown at SNME, so I don't think our fans want another. And, come on, nobody is going to pick a wrestling match. Out of these choices, Mixed Martial Arts is what I think will win.
Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay (
fans pick the stipulation):Now this is a rivalry that's not impressing me as much as the MVP-Hardy rivalry, but it has much better choices. I think fans want to see a Stretcher More than anything, followed by Shillelagh on a Pole match, and than NO-DQ. The last stretcher match was pretty good, and we recently had a Singapore Cane on a Pole match, but that was good too, so it'll be close. And since both of those are NO-DQ, i doubt that JUST a NO-DQ Match will win.
